Don Wells 
Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor

With 27 years of experience in financial services, Don is dedicated to helping individuals meet their financial needs by developing investment plans around their long-term goals and risk tolerance. His extensive experience – throughout major shifts in the markets – enables him to help our clients structure balanced portfolios to address their specific financial goals.

Don began his financial services career as a Financial Advisor in 1990 with Shearson Lehman Hutton. Shortly after, he joined A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc., where he worked for 11 years. He then moved his financial practice to Smith Barney until 2009 when he transferred to Wells Fargo Advisors, and now to D.A. Davidson in 2018. He has served many Northwest area investors in his 27 years of experience and looks forward to helping them meet their financial goals.

He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from California State University, Long Beach.

Committed to helping our community prosper, he is active with the youth outreach program, Young Life. Away from the office, he also enjoys golfing, exercising, and exploring new places with his family.

Kyle Wells, CFP®
Senior Financial Advisor

Kyle discovered early on that he had an interest in finance and how money can grow by investing in the companies you use every day. During his time at the University of Portland, he expanded this interest by majoring in business with a concentration in finance. As he learned more about economics and financial markets, he became determined to learn as much as possible during his years at school. He is particularly interested in personal finance and investing in ways to safely grow capital and prepare people for a secure retirement. To further persue this he has eared his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. This professional credential is earned through rigorous years of applicable experience, formal education, successful completion of the boards standardized exams, and a demonstration of ethics.

Now, as a Financial Advisor, Kyle enjoys getting to know each of his clients personally so that he is able to focus on what is most important to them. His mission is to help these clients achieve their financial goals by first forming a comprehensive plan and then matching investments which will give that plan the greatest chance of success.

Kyle and his wife Brooke enjoy giving back to their community by leading with Young Life's group at Summit High School. 

Born and raised in Central Oregon, Kyle has a passion for exploring the great outdoors. He enjoys golfing, backpacking, and lake days during the warm summer months and in winter, seeking out the best snow in the Oregon backcountry.

Kit Larsen
Client Associate

Kit has been working in the securities industry for 20 years, with the first 10 years at Smith Barney and the last 10 here with D.A. Davidson. Kit has and will continue to provide administrative, operational, and dedicated client support to the advisors and clients she works with.

Kit is excited and proud to be joining the Wells Financial Consulting Group of D.A. Davidson to continue to care for the clients she has worked with for years. Kit has known Don Wells for many years and with the addition of his son Kyle, The Wells Team is a detail oriented practice, stressing integrity and hardworking core values along with great customer service.

Throughout her time in the industry, Kit has had the pleasure of becoming well acquainted with the clients she works for and looks forward to continuing that same great service with them and the next generation to follow. Kit and her husband are thrilled to be raising their own “next generation”, and the three of them are enjoying all of the experiences and lifestyle that Central Oregon has to offer.
